AIPT 2026 Concludes Successfully, Showcasing Breakthroughs in Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence

The 2026 3rd International Conference on Advanced Image Processing Technology (AIPT 2026) was successfully held online today, bringing together leading experts and scholars from top Chinese universities to share cutting-edge advancements in image processing, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence.
The conference was sponsoreded by Zhejiang Normal University, organized by its School of Computer Science and Technology, and supported by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The half-day event featured four keynote speeches and two oral presentations, drawing participants from across the global research community.


Distinguished Keynote Speakers

The conference opened with a keynote by Prof. Jie Yang (Shanghai Jiao Tong University), Director of the Institute of Image Processing and Pattern Recognition. He delivered a talk entitled“Researches on the Defenses and Out-of-Distribution Detection in Trustworthy Deep Learning,”sharing insights from his extensive work in image processing, data mining, and AI.

He was followed by Prof. Zhongleng Zheng (Zhejiang Normal University), Dean of the College of Computer Science, who presented on “Robust Object Detection for UAV Remote Sensing Images in Complex Environments.”

Prof. Mang Ye (Wuhan University), a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher and chair of the Department of Intelligent Science, delivered a talk on “Multimodal Large Language Models: Continual Learning and Safe Tuning.”

The final keynote was given by Researcher Hehe Fan (Zhejiang University), a ZJU100 Young Professor and recipient of the National Young Talent Program, who spoke on “Realizing General Embodied Intelligence Based on Hierarchical Architecture and Unified Protocols.”
