Prof. Lu Leng

Nanchang Hangkong University, China

LU LENG received his Ph.D. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, P.R. China, in 2012. He performed his postdoctoral research at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, P.R. China. He was a visiting scholar at West Virginia University, USA, and Yonsei University, South Korea. Currently, he is a full professor, the dean of the Institute of Computer Vision, and the office director of the Key Laboratory of Jiangxi Province for Image Processing and Pattern Recognition at Nanchang Hangkong University.

Prof. Leng has published more than 100 international journal and conference papers, including about 70 SCI papers and three highly cited papers. He has been granted several scholarships and funding projects, including five projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He serves as a reviewer for more than 100 international journals and conferences. His research interests include computer vision, biometric template protection, and biometric recognition.

Prof. Leng is an outstanding representative of "Innovation Talent" of Jiangxi Enterprise in "Science and Technology China" and has received the "Jiangxi Youth May Fourth Medal,"  "Jiangxi Hundred-Thousand Talent Project,"  "Jiangxi Voyage Project,", etc.

Prof. Bin Liu

Dalian University of Technology, China

Prof. Bin Liu's main research interests include computer vision and graphic images, medical image processing and 3D reconstruction, computer-aided preoperative planning, and simulation. He presided over four projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and more than 10 projects entrusted by provincial and ministerial levels. He has published more than 50 papers in international journals as the first author or corresponding author, and the first author has authorized more than 30 national invention patents and more than 40 software copyrights.

Prof. Huafeng Qin

Chongqing Technology and Business University, China

Huafeng Qin, Ph.D., is a professor at Chongqing Technology and Business University. His main research interests include biometric recognition technology, machine learning, and computer vision. He is the leader of the innovation research group of Chongqing universities and has been selected as a young technological talent for innovation in new products in Chongqing. He is also a member of the China Computer Federation, a director of the Education Committee of the China Computer Federation, a member of the Chongqing Youth Technological Leaders Association, and a member of the Chongqing Science and Technology Ethics Association. As the principal investigator, he has held more than 10 research projects, including two National Natural Science Foundation funding projects, one high-value patent cultivation project in Chongqing, and 10 other projects. He has published three books, more than 20 patents, and software copyrights. He has published over 50 papers in international journals and conferences with more than 1300 citations. He has received the third prize for scientific and technological progress in Chongqing and the Ministry of Education's award for outstanding doctoral students in academic research.

Prof. Zhenghao Shi

Xi’an University of Technology, China

Zhenghao Shi received his Ph.D. in computer architecture from the Xi'an Institute of Microelectronics, Xi’an, China, in 2005. In 2000, he joined Xi’an University of Technology, Xi’an, China. Now, he is a full professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the same university. He is also a member of the Academic Committee of Xi'an University of Technology, the Chairman of the Computer Vision Technology Professional Committee of Shaanxi Computer Society, the Vice Chairman of the Biomedical Intelligent Computing Professional Committee of Shaanxi Computer Society, the director of the research team for "Intelligent Image Processing and Applications" at Xi'an University of Technology, and an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Graphics and Images currently. 

From 2006 to 2009, he was on leave with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Nagoya Institute of Technology, Nagoya, Japan, for image research as a postdoctoral researcher, respectively. From 2007 to 2008, he was a research associate in the Kurt Rossmann Laboratories for Radiologic Image Research, the Department of Radiology, and the Division of Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago. From December 2016 to December 2017, he was a visiting associate professor in the Image Display, Enhancement, and Analysis (IDEA) Lab in the Department of Radiology, Division of Biological Sciences, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). He is a Distinguished Member of CCF, a member of the IEEE, and a member of ACM.
